We are a self organizing group of women artists and crafters. Our Mission is to give women a place to explore their creativity and to support arts and crafts in the Tacoma area. We are a member driven organization and offer a variety of events, many that are open to non-members as well as members.
Join us for our monthly potluck and business meeting, as well as art share and socializing. Most monthly meetings are followed by a low fee class or workshop.
Prospective Members are encouraged to visit with us up to three times. The monthly Meet-up and Crafts Camp are great options, as both are free and welcoming events.
Interest groups are regularly occurring groups in which women working in similar media get together to work on their individual projects. Currently running: Art Journaling/Paper Play and Sewing Bee.
Crafts Camp is a time to gather monthly for a few hours and work on whatever projects you want to bring.
Most months we offer one or more low-fee arts or crafts classes to our members, where we explore a media, technique, or create a particular project.
Prospective members may attend two paid events prior to joining. We look forward to meeting you.
Our members are the engine of this organization. Members enjoy not only low-fee classes, but also art retreats, a summer field trip and a winter celebration.
